Shilac Japan, an affiliate of Shilac Enterprises Inc., is a member of The Japanese Academy of Prosthetists and Orthotists. Many doctors and surgeons associated with Shilac Enterprises are members of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Through AAOS annual meetings, Shilac Enterprises is able to stay informed with the latest in research and new techniques provided by practicing surgeons from around the world.

History of Shilac Enterprises Inc. and Shilac Japan Inc.

  • 1990 - Shilac Enterprises Inc. is established in Los Angeles
  • 1994 - Shilac Japan Inc. is founded in Tokyo as the affiliated company of Shilac Enterprises Inc.
  • 1995 - Shilac Japan Office is transferred to Osaka
  • 1997 - Began to import scientific equipment internationally
  • 1998 - Shilac Japan office is moved to Izumi, Osaka due to the expansion of business
  • 1999 - Began to export Breg products
  • 2003 - Shilac Japan opened sales office in Tokyo
  • 2008 - Shilac Japan opened sales office in Fukuoka
  • 2010 - Shilac Japan further expanded by constructing and opening a new warehouse/office in Osaka
