When I first came to Los Angeles from Japan I came with a dream to start a successful business, although my finances were limited. However, I counted among my biggest assets the experience and trust that I had gained during my previous 15 years in a large corporate structure in the United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Japan. With invaluable help from numerous friends and business acquaintances who have assisted me in many fruitful developments, I have been able to fulfill my goals building a prosperous business network worldwide.
Since its inception in 1990, the goal of Shilac Enterprises has been to overcome language and cultural barriers. What sets Shilac Enterprises apart is the belief in “true bilingualism.” A true bilingual, in my personal view, is not someone who is merely proficient in languages but who can go beyond cultural, social and corporate boundaries to truly communicate on a heart to heart level.
Heart to heart communication beyond national boundaries – that is the principle of Shilac Enterprises. Our goal is to continue to uphold this principle in order to serve as a bridge point for our clients in all areas of the international business arena.
